The house of Paco Rabanne grabbed the limelight right from its inception in 1966. Its debut collection, titled “12 Unwearable Dresses in Contemporary Materials”, laid the foundation for an unmistakable, unconventional, uniquely visionary style. After more than 30 years of fashion, the year 2006 brought an end to the house’s ready to wear collections. The apparel business has lain dormant since then. 2011 marks the return of the house of Paco Rabanne to the world of fashion. Beginning with a limited-edition offering of accessories based on brand classics, and the inauguration of an ongoing series of collaborations with invited designers, the house also announces the appointment of Manish Arora as Creative Director of Women’s Wear.
