Jil Sander

Logo Jil Sander

Jil Sander opened her first Hamburg store in 1967 aged just 24, but her pure, understated designs really came into their own with the advent of '90s minimalism. Synonymous with pure, understated fashion the label is closely associated with 1990s minimalism and masculine/feminine looks. Now under the creative charge of Belgian designer, Raf Simons, Jil Sander is celebrated for graphic one-color silhouettes, clean cuts and abstract tailoring. Think sleek shift dresses with rough-hewn edges, draped jersey dresses and military-style shirts in neutral shades of cream, white and taupe.
